The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan has begun the process of media accreditation for local and foreign media representatives for participation in the High Level International Conference on the implementation of the International Decade for Action “Water for Life”, 2005-2015, which will take place in Dushanbe on June 9 — 11.

Media representatives who wish to take part in the conference must contact the Department of Information, Press, Analysis and Foreign Policy Planning of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan (phone: 221-43-69 or by e-mail:pressaccreditation@mfa.tj) and provide the following documents:

1. A letter on official letterhead with the full names of attending correspondents and technical staff signed by the media organization’s management.
2. A 3.5cm x 4cm photo of attending correspondents (300DPI resolution in JPEG format).
3. E-mail address.

For foreign media representatives who do not have permanent press accreditation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan:

1. A letter on official letterhead with the full names of attending correspondents and technical staff signed by the media organization’s management.
2. Information about the information agency.
3. A biography of the correspondent (CV).
4. A completed version of the following application form (PDF)
5. A 2.5cm x 3cm photo of attending correspondents (300 DPI resolution in JPEG format).
6. Copy of passport.

We would like to highlight that media representatives who have accreditation will be given photo ID badges allowing free movement and access to the conference venues.

Press accreditation applications will be accepted until 16:00, May 25, 2015.
