Alumnus of the journalism faculty at the Moscow State University named after M. Lomonosov (graduated in 1984). Mr. Vokhidov embarked upon his journalistic activities as a correspondent of Komsomoli Tojikiston, a national youth newspaper (later renamed into Javononi Tojikiston). For a number of years he worked for other newspapers – Posoh, printing body of the Tajik Union of Journalists, and Farkhang, Tajik Culture Foundation.

Vokhidov has been working for NANSMIT since 1999, when the Association was created. Abdufattoh Vokhidov has participated in implementation of a number of projects. Currently, he coordinates the Tajik segment of the project “Protection of democratic principles and freedom of speech in Central Asia”. He has a rich experience in training activities; he writes his original materials in Tajik and Russian languages.
