The Tenth Global Congress of the Russian Press was held in Moscow on 11-13 June. The Congress organized by ITAR TASS and the Global Association of the Russian Press was attended by about one thousand participants from 65 countries. The tajik delegation was headed by editors of Vetcherny Dushanbe, Narodnaya Gazeta, Facts & Comments, and Arguments & Facts.

Gulnora Amirshoeva, editor of Vetcherny Dushanbe weekly said that participants of the forum discussed the contemporary conditions of the Russian foreign press, the role of Russian language in the development of global civilization, and the place of the Global Association of the Russian press in life of Russian-speaking diasporas in the light of globalization.
